NOTICE FROM THE EDITOR: Effective (DATE), Tiff is stepping down from Tiff’s Tips.
Dear Tiff, Why are you quitting?
Fans don’t worry. I’ll have a column before you know it. Tiff’s Hot Takes! Where I debate hot issues like Pie vs. Cake!
Fans, you may have been reading about the bad break I got. Yet today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of this earth. I have been in newspapers for two years and have never received anything but kindness and encouragement from you fans.
Look at these grand people. Which of you wouldn’t consider it the highlight of his career just to associate with them for even one day? Sure, I’m lucky. Why wouldn’t it a be gift? To know the builder of the school’s worst newspaper, Mr. Russell? To have spent months with that wonderful little fellow, James? Sure, I’m lucky.
When the Lewisburg Area Newspaper Club, a club you forgot exists, sends you a gift – that’s something. When everybody down to the freshman and those fifth year seniors remember you – that’s something. When you have a wonderful principal who allows you to write something called “Tiff’s Tips” – that’s something. When you have a mother who works all her life so you can have an education and build your body – it’s a blessing.
